Modeled Moment: Playdough Lengths
Using playdough, encourage your child to make a "snake" that is similar to yours. Compare the length of two "snakes." Challenge your child to think about how to make theirs longer than yours. This activity is great for strengthening the muscles in small hands. It also builds a foundation for measurement by comparing length, weight, and size of objects.
